RESOLUTION NO. 84-21 <br />Page No. two <br /> <br />- Walking Improvements (I6) <br />- Employer-Directed Ridesharing (I8) <br />- Ridesharing through Parking Management (I9) <br />- Modified Work Schedule (ILO) <br />- Reduce Business Miles by Local Government (I28) <br />- Home Goods Delivery (I29) <br />- Traffic Signal Synchronization (K2) <br />- Engergy Conservation Standards for New Residences (NIO) <br />- Conversion to Energy-Efficient Street Lighting (Nll) <br />- Life Cycle Costing for New Local Government Purchases (N27) <br />- Mixed Land Use/Balanced Development (01) <br />- Clustering of New Commercial Development (02) <br />- Encourage Residential Development in Strip Commercial Areas (04) <br />- Increased Residential Density Near Major Transit Corridors (05) <br />- Increased Employment Density Near Major Bus Transit R~utes (017) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the AQMP provides that, if any of these measures is <br />found to be inappropriate or unacceptable in a jurisdiction, then a commit- <br />ment to implement an approved alternative control measure may be substi- <br />tuted for implementation of any reasonably available control'measure, <br />providing the substitute measure is equivalent in emissions control and is <br />implemented no later than the implementation date of the measure it replaces; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS the implementation of AQMP control measures by local <br />governments is contingent upon the availability of funds from federal, <br />state, and local sources. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, it is the intent of the <br />City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br />Section l: <br /> <br /> To implement the reasonably available control measures, as described <br />in "E:~hibit 1," or equivalent substitute measures. The list of adopted <br />measures, including the adopted implementation schedule, is included in <br />"Exhibit 2" attached to this resolution. <br /> <br />Section 2: <br /> <br /> To seek adequate funding from federal, state, and local sources to <br />implement the adopted list of control measures according to the adopted <br />implementation schedule, as set forth in "Exhibit 2." <br /> <br />Section 3: <br /> <br /> To forward copies of this Resolution to the Southern California <br />Association of Governments, 600 South Commonwealth Avenue, Suite 1000, <br />Los Angeles, California 90005. <br /> <br /> <br />
