RESOLUTION NO. 84- 76 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF T~E CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD FIVE NEW CLASSES AND <br />CHANGE A NUMBER OF CLASS TITLES IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT A <br />COUNCIL-APpROVED ADMINISTRATIVE REORGANIZATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on,August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic~ Classification <br />and Compensation Flan for Officers and employees of the City of Santa Ama; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and <br />the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 14, 1984 the City Council approved an administrative <br />reorganization plan proposed by the City Manager; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide for the appointment andcompensation of <br />several individuals to certain key positions in said reorganization plan and <br />to provide job titles more reflective of revised areas of responsibilities for <br />a number of key management positions, it is now desired to add five new class <br />titles together with salary rate ranges and appropriate management designations. <br />and to change a number of class t~itles. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1~ That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by: <br /> <br /> a.
