REL:adg <br />8/9/84 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 84-98 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING TENTATIVE <br />MAP NO. 11921 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council held a duly noticed public hearing <br />on August 6, 1984, on Tentative Map No. 11921 to allow the con- <br />version of an apartment complex located at 521-591 North Tustin <br />Avenue from single ownership to a form of ownership where each <br />multiple family building is separately owned and the grounds are <br />owned in common by the building owners; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) Even though division of ownership as proposed for <br />the subject property may be a "condominium project" under a <br />strict interpretation of such term as used in the Subdivision <br />Map Act, it is not a conversion of rental units to condominiums <br />and will not cause a displacement of tenants. Nevertheless, the <br />City and the Subdivider have complied with the notice require- <br />ments set forth in the Subdivision Map Act for condominium <br />conversions to the extent they can be considered to have any <br />resonable application to a "buildings only" condominium conver- <br />sion. <br /> <br /> (b) Bach of the tenants of the proposed condominium <br />has received, pursuant to Section 66452.9 of the Subdivision <br />Map Act, written notice of intention to convert at least sixty <br />(60) days prior to the filing of Tentative Map No. 11921 with <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> (c) Each such tenant has received ten (10) days <br />written notification that an application for a public report <br />will be, or has been, submitted to the Department of Real <br />Estate, and that such report will be available on request. <br /> <br /> <br />
