CDG:mb <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-101 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA CONSENTING TO THE CITY <br />OF TUSTIN'S APPLICATION TO THE L.A.F.C. <br />OF THE COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR THE ADJUST- <br />MENT OF THE COMMON BOUNDARY LINE BETWEEN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND THE CITY OF <br />TUSTIN DESIGNATED AS ORANGE COUNTY MUNICIPAL <br />REORGANIZATION NO. 91. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Tustin has proposed a common <br />boundary line adjustment with the City of Santa Ana and the <br />City of Tustin; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 77-125 the City of Santa <br />Ana consented to the transfer to the City of Tustin of that <br />certain real property as designated on Exhibit A attached <br />hereto, but said transfer was never accomplished; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Santa Ana City Council finds that the <br />existing common boundary line between both cities traverses the <br />properties in question in a manner inconsistent with the public <br />use of the area and thereby precludes the efficient use of city <br />services, and that the foregoing is not in agreement with the <br />public interest in securing the best use of the properties; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 86-67 dated April 6, 1986 <br />the City of Tustin resolved to act as the lead agency and <br />proceed with the various implementing actions to accomplish the <br />proposed boundary line adjustment. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City of Santa Ana affirms its previous <br />consent to the detachment of certain real property as <br />designated on Exhibit A attached hereto from the City of Santa <br />Ana for transfer to the City of Tustin. <br /> <br /> 2. The Clerk of the Council is hereby authorized to file <br />this Resolution and Resolution No. 77-125 with the Local Agency <br />Formation Commission of the County of Orange, pursuant to Part <br />2 of Division 2 of Title 4 of the Government Code of the State <br /> <br /> <br />
