REL:adg-26 <br />2/23/87 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8~21 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA DIRECTING THE REVISION <br />OF THE CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODES OF THE <br />VARIOUS OFFICES, DEPARTMENTS AND AGENCIES <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in 1977, the several offices, departments and <br />agencies of the City of Santa Ana adopted Conflict of Interest <br />Codes pursuant to the Political Reform Act of 1974; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in the years since 1977, there have been changes <br />in the administrative staff of the City of Santa Ana, including <br />departmental reorganizations and redesignations, the creation of <br />new offices and positions of employment, and changes in the titles <br />and duties of officers and employees; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such changes necessitate the revision of the <br />Conflict of Interest Codes of the various offices, departments <br />and agencies of the City of Santa Ana to more accurately designate <br />those officers and employees who should disclose financial interests <br />and the types of financial interests they should disclose; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Each of the following divisions of the administrative <br />staff of the City of Santa Ana shall be deemed an "Agency" of the <br />City of Santa Ana within the meaning of the Political Reform Act <br />of 1974, Chapter 7, Article 3, and shall prepare a revised <br />Conflict of Interest Code in accordance with the requirements <br />and limitations of that Act, and the chief administrative <br />officer of each such "agency" shall be responsible for such <br />preparation: <br /> <br /> A. The Office of the City Manager, which for purposes <br />of this Resolution, shall be deemed to include all employees not <br />within the jurisdiction of any hereinbelow specified agency. <br /> <br />B. The Office of the Clerk of the Council <br /> <br />C. The Office of the City Attorney <br /> <br />D. The Finance and Management Services Agency <br /> <br />E. The Human Resources Agency <br /> <br />F. The Public Works Agency <br /> <br /> <br />
