RESOLUTION NO. <br />Page three <br /> <br />87- 45 <br /> <br />after public hearing, has determined that <br />of the relevant evidence does not support <br />mination of the FAA. <br /> <br />the weight <br />the deter- <br /> <br /> 4. Except as provided in paragraph 3(f) hereinabove, <br />no building permits shall be issued for any proposed build- <br />ing or structure which the FAA has finally determined <br />would be a hazard to air navigation as proposed. <br /> <br /> 5. The Director shall notify the OCALUC of any pro- <br />posed building or structure whenever the Department has been <br />informed that the FAA has determined that the building or <br />structure would exceed a standard of Subpart C of FAR Part 77. <br />Any comments received by the City from the OCALUC shall be con- <br />sidered by the City in its approval, disapproval or condition- <br />ing of the proposed project in any discretionary action applic- <br />able thereto. <br /> <br />C. Noise <br /> <br /> 1. The CNEL Contour Map, showing zones where aircraft <br />noise impact from John Wayne Airport are 60 CNEL or greater <br />and where it is 65 CNEL or greater, adopted by the OCALUC in <br />connection with its AELUP, is hereby incorporated by reference. <br />Any revised map showing such zones adopted in the future by <br />the OCALUC is likewise incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. Residential units in any area of the City shown on <br />the CNEL Contour Map as 60 CNEL or greater shall be sufficiently <br />sound attenuated for present and projected noise exposures, <br />which shall be the energy sum of all noise impacting the <br />project, so as not to exceed an interior standard of 45 CNEL. <br />Residential units shall be indoor oriented so as to preclude <br />noise impingement on outdoor living activities. <br /> <br /> 3. Commercial and industrial buildings in any area of <br />the City shown on the CNEL contour map as 65 CNEL or greater <br />shall be sound attenuated against the combined input of all <br />present and projected exterior noise to meet the following cri- <br />teria: <br /> <br />Typical Use <br /> <br />Level L(eq)*(12)** <br /> <br />Private office, church santuary, <br />board room, conference room, etc. <br /> <br />45 <br /> <br />General office, reception, cleri- <br />cal, etc. 50 <br /> <br />Bank lobby, retail store, restaur- <br />ant, typing pool, etc. 55 <br /> <br />Manufacturing, kitchen, warehousing, etc. 65 <br /> <br /> <br />
