RESOLUTION NO. 87-45 <br />Page four <br /> <br />*L(eq) is the equivalent sound level for a specified time <br />period in dB(A). <br /> <br />** Measured from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. or other appropriate <br /> time period. <br /> <br /> 4. Noise-sensitive uses, such as schools, hospitals and <br />libraries, are not permitted in any area of the City shown on <br />the CNEL Contour Map as 65 CNEL or greater. <br /> <br />D. Heliports and Helistops <br /> <br /> 1. Any application for development of a heliport or hell- <br />stop shall be forwarded to by the Department to the OCALUC for <br />review and comment. <br /> <br /> 2. In connection with any such application, the Depart- <br />ment shall provide, or require the applicant to provide, the <br />OCALUC with the following information: <br /> <br />(a) Location of the proposed heliport/helistop <br /> (street address). <br /> <br />(b) Purpose of request: Personal, private, or <br /> commercial use of heliport/helistop. <br /> <br />(c) Zoning of site. <br /> <br />(d) Description of area and adjoining properties. <br /> <br />(e) Approach/departure paths. <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />Anticipated number of approaches and departures <br />(counted separately),during a specified time in- <br />terval (day, week, month). <br /> <br />(g) <br /> <br />Potential for creating a nuisance due to noise <br />generated by the operation of helicopters. <br />(Noise study may be required). <br /> <br />(h) Potential for creating an accident hazard. <br /> <br />(i) Federal Aviation Administration Aeronautical <br /> Study. <br /> <br /> <br />
