- -'- 27.3 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- 59 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION 82-110 TO DELETE, ADD AND CHANGE SEVERAL <br />CLASS TITLES AND EFFECT OTHER CHANGES TO THE CITY'S BASIC <br />CLASSIFICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN FOR OFFICERS AND <br />EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for officers and Employees of the <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004 Article X of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the adoption of the annual budget for Fiscal Year <br />1987-88, the City Council authorized certain organizational and staffing <br />changes which affect several class titles in the City's Basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for classes of employment contained <br />in Resolution No. 82-110; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the changing needs and priorities of the City <br />departments dictate certain changes in the Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan for classes of employment contained in Resolution No. <br />82-110, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolution to delete, <br />add and change several class titles and salary rate ranges affected by <br />said organizational and staffing changes. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> %. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by: <br /> <br />a. Deleting the following class titles: <br /> <br />Contract Compliance Officer <br />Community Events Aide (Full-time) <br />Legislative Analyst <br />Public Information Officer <br /> <br /> <br />
