RESOLIfrION NO. 88-20 <br />Page 4 <br /> <br /> 4. Bereavement Leave. The definition of "immediate family' as <br />used in the policy and practices currently governing bereavement leave <br />for affected employees shall be expanded to include grandparents and <br />grandchildren. <br /> <br /> S. Health Insurance. The City shall contribute to the PBA for <br />health insurance the same increases as it provides to other City <br />employees, to wit: <br /> <br /> a. If, on or after October 1, 1988, the total monthly <br />premium for the most expensive "employee only' coverage among the City's <br />~ plans exceeds $133.32 per month, the City will increase its <br />contribution up to an amount equal to $133.32 plus 50% of the amount of <br />said premium in excess o£ $133.32 per month. <br /> <br /> b. If, on or after October 1, 1988, the total monthly <br />premium for the most expensive "family coverage" among the City's [~O <br />plans exceeds $255.00 per month, the City will increase its contribution <br />up to an amount equal to $255.00 plus 50% of the amount of said premium <br />in excess of $133.32. <br /> <br /> BB IT FURTHER RESOLVI~: That, in addition to the salary and <br />benefit adjustments specified hereinabove, all employees represented by <br />the PBA shall continue to receive any and all employee benefits and <br />rights which they were entitled to receive or enjoy on June 30, 1987 by <br />reason of prior action of the City Council. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVt~D: That this Council has intended, and now <br />intends that this Resolution be operative from and after April 1, 1988. <br /> <br />ATI'PSST: <br /> <br />ADOPTED this 4th day of April, 1988. <br /> <br />~'~nlce C.
