RESOLIfrION NO. 88-78 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 82-110 AND 87-95 TO CHANGE SEVI~AL <br />CLASS TITLES AND ADJUST THE SALARY LEVELS FOR THREE <br />CLASSIFICATIONS. <br /> <br /> [flfl~KEAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain <br />a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the <br />City of Santa Ana; and, on December 21, 1987, passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 87-95, re-establishing the Compensation Plan for classes <br />of employment designated as unrepresented executive and middle <br />management; and <br /> <br /> I~rlI~RFAS, it is now desired to amend said Resolutions in order to <br />(1) properly compensate the existing classes of Budget Analyst II, <br />Housing Development Coordinator and Zoo Animal Registrar at levels <br />commensurate with assigned duties and responsibilities; and (2) change <br />five class titles at no change in currently assigned salary levels. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEP. EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OE SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by: <br /> <br /> a.
