City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Council ChamBer <br />Santa Aha City Hall <br />May l, 1961 7:30 <br /> <br />Present: <br /> <br />Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, <br /> Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen Dale H. Helnly <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Garland C. Lacey, Wilshire Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having receiVed copies of the Minutes of <br />April 17, 1961, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried. <br /> <br />Sale of City <br />property at <br />northeast corner <br />of Harvard and <br />Fairview Avenues <br /> <br />The Mayor announced this is the time set for the sale of a large R-1 (Single <br />Family Residence District) lot, the approximate dimensions being 70 feet frontage <br />on the north side of Harvard Street, 1~8+ feet along the easterly side of Fairview <br />Street, north property line 82 feet, east property line 150+ feet, located at the <br /> <br />northeast corner of Harvard and Fairview Streets. On motion of Councilman Hubbard~ <br /> <br />seconded by Schlueter and carried, the Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Prop- <br /> <br />erty Sale was received and filed. The Mayor asked the Clerk if any sealed bids <br /> <br />had been received, and the Clerk stated there were none. The Mayor asked if there <br /> <br />were any bids to be submitted from the floor. On motion of Councilma~ Hubbard, <br /> <br />seconded by ~rewer and carried, in view of the fact that no sealed bids had been <br /> <br /> <br />
