Rf~OLUTION ND. g~058 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY GOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION ND. 89-087 TO PNDVIDE A GENERAL ACNOSS- <br />THE-BOArD SALARY ADJUSTMflgT FOR CLASSES OF fl~DLOYMENT <br />DESIGNA~'~3 AS UNREPRESENTED EXECUTIVE ~ MIDDLE-MAN~3EMfIgT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Sectio~ 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the <br />city of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and <br />maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service <br />rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 5, 1989, the city Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 89-087, re-establishing the Basic Compensation <br />Plan for classes of employment designated as unrepresented Executive and <br />Middle-Management; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an existirg labor agreement between the City and the <br />Santa Ana City Employees' Association/Service Employees International <br />Union, Local 1939, AFL-CIO, (~C, which represents approximately fifty <br />percent (50%) of all represented employees of the City, provides a Fiscal <br />year 1990-91 salary increase of four percent (4.0%), effective July 1, <br />1990; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to adjust the base <br />salaries for unrepresented Executive and Middle-Management personnel for <br />Fiscal Year 1990-91 by the same percentage and in the same manner as <br />provided said represented employees. <br /> <br /> NDW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVfD BY THE CITY ~OUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SAIq~A ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That the attached new "Schedule of Salary Rate Ranges" to <br />be effective July 1, 1990, identified as "Attachment C", be added to the <br />existing attachments of said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> 2. That except as amended by this Resolution, all other <br />provisions of Resolution No. 89-087 shall remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br />3.
