RESOI/3TION NO. 90-059 <br />Page 3 of 4 <br /> <br />165 <br /> <br /> B. Disability Insurance. The City shall continue to pay <br />one hundred percent (100%) of the premiun cost for coverage under the <br />same long-term disability insurance plan it maintains for management <br />officers and employees of the City. <br /> <br /> C. Health and Dental Insurance. The City shall contribute <br />the following amounts toward the payment of premiums for affected <br />employees and their eligible dependents under the existing health and <br />dental insurance programs (or new programs providing substantially <br />similar coverage and benefits). <br /> <br /> 1. With respect to employees who do not have <br />dependents included under the programs, an amount equal to the highest <br />amount of City contribution applicable to the "employc~only" health and <br />dental coverages for employees as specified in any current operative <br />Memorandum of Understanding between the City and a recognized employee <br />organizat ion. <br /> <br /> 2. Wi th respect to employees who have dependents <br />included under the programs, an amount equal to the highest amount of <br />City cc~tribution applicable to the "family-plan" health and dental <br />coverages for employees and their dependents as specified in any current <br />operative Memorandum of Understanding between the City and a recognized <br />employee organization. <br /> <br /> D. Tuition Reimbursement. Confidential employees shall <br />continue to be eligible to participate in the existing Training and <br />Education Assistance Program provided for all regular, full-time <br />employees of the City; except, however, reimbursement for eligible <br />employees shall be one hundred percent (100%) of tuition and registration <br />costs up to a maximun of five hundred dollars ($500.00) per semester in <br />accordance with the provisions of tb~t Program. <br /> <br /> E. WelLness and Physical Fitness Incentive. Confidential <br />employees shall be eligible to receive cash payment to defray a portion <br />of the membership cost of a City-approved but privately operated health <br />and physical fitness program in accordance with the following <br />cost-sharing schedule: 80% of the annual membership cost up to a maximu~ <br />City contribution of $500 per year. <br /> <br /> F. Other Ccmpensation Plan (~%anges. Confidential <br />employees shall continue to be subject to the same changes in provision <br />pertaining to advancements and reductions in salary steps; temporary <br />upgrade assignment pay; overtime pay; vacation leave usage; residency <br />limitations; and implementation of a retiree health insurance program, if <br />and when developed, as provided or will be provided to represented <br />non-management, general service employees on or after July 1, 1989. <br /> <br /> <br />
