231 <br /> <br />Request <br />Joanne Perez <br />Loading Zone on <br />Fifteenth St. <br /> <br />Report <br />Two-Way Traffic <br />on Sycamore St. <br /> <br />motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of <br /> <br />Joanne Perez, 1502 No. Ross Street, was denied, for a Loading Zone on Fifteenth <br /> <br />Street, west of Ross Street. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the report of <br /> <br />the Manager, reference the traffic volume, accident counts, and the two-way versus <br /> <br />one-way traffic on Sycamore Street, was received, filed, and copies of the report <br /> <br />Leaves of Absence <br />A. Heinly <br /> <br />Payment of salaries <br />of Employees on <br />semi-monthly basis <br /> <br />Fireworks <br />Pe rmit s <br /> <br /> furnished each CounciLman. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Schlueter and carried, the oral requests <br />of Mayor A. Allen Hall and Councilman Dale H. Heinly were granted~ to leave the <br />State to attend the ~merican Municipal Association Conference in Seattle~ Washington, <br />~ugust 26 through August 30, 1961, with expenses paid; and that Mayor A. ^llen Hall! <br />was authorized to be absent frcm the State from August 22 to September 20, 1961, at <br />no expense to the City. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager~ and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br />Schlueter and carried, authorization was granted to change the date of payment of <br />salaries and wages to City employees frc~ once each month to semi-monthly, on the <br />5th and 20th of each month. <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried~ Applications for <br />Permits to Sell Safe and Sane Fireworks by Boy Scout Explorers Post No. 140, ll2~ W~ <br />17th Street; Boy Scout Troop No. 41~ 1306 So. M~in Street; Boy Scout Troop No. 156, <br />1605 W. First Street; Cub Pack No. 41, 2318 So.
