The Council having unanSmousl7 waived the reading of the Resolution~ on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried~ the following Resolution en- titled: "Resolution No. 61-158 declaring stop intersection" installing four-way stop signs at the intersection of l~fth and Newhope Streets, as recommended by the Department of Publdc Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes~ C onnci]_men Noes, Councilmen Absent~ Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter~ Dale H. Heinly, A. A. Hall None Bob Brewer The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the following Resolution en- titled: "Resolution No. 61-159 concerning parking limitations and curb markings in accordance therewith" repealing and rescinding Resolution No. 57-191~ adopted July 15, 1957~ and install- ing a Stop Sign at the intersection of Raitt Street and Willits Street · directing traffic on Willits Street to stop to traffic on Raitt Street, as recommended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Counc~lmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Heinly, A. A. Hall Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen Bob Brewer The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolutions, on motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried· the following Resolution en- titled: "Resolution No. 61-160 concerning parking limitations and curb markings in accordance therewith" establishing No Parking Zones on the north side of Eighth Street, between Bristol Street and Louise Street; on the south side of Eighth Street, between Bristol Street and Pacific Avenue; on the north side of Santa Clara Avenue~ between Bristol Street and Louise Street, and on the south side of Santa Clara Avenue~ between Bristol Street and Hesperisn Etreet~ as recc~mended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Relnly, A. A. Hall Noes~ Councilmen None Absent~ Councilmen Bob Brewer On motion of Councilm~ Hubbard· seconded by Schlueter and carried· the request of the Manager was granted to extend the contract time from 45 to 60 days· with com- pletion on May 30, 1961, for the painting of the Elevated Water Tank near Fourteenth Street and Poinsettia Avenue, and the Bristol Street Reservoir. On motion of Councilman Hubbard~ seconded by Schlueter and carried~ the request of the Manager was granted to extend the time fram April 19 to May 26~ 1961, for the construction of a storm drain and channel on Fatrview Street, from Edinger Avenue ta McFadden Avenue, Project D-38. On motion of Councilman Hubbard~seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of W. F. Neukaemper, 700 Minter Street,for No Parking Signs in the alley along the 700 block of Minter Street, was received and filed, as the Department of Public Works will install new signs to indicate it will be clear no parking is allowed.
