Dedmon, <br />et al <br /> <br />seconded by Hubbard aud carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 209, filed by <br />Norwood Homes, was approved, subject to conditions. It was moved by Councilman <br /> <br />Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that Final Map of Tract No. 4163 <br /> be <br />and bond in the amount of $63,000.00/approved, subject to approval by the Attorney <br /> <br />as to form; license fee in the amount of $3,200.00 accepted, and agreement covering <br /> <br />improvements ordered signed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br /> <br />seconded by Heinly and carried, proper officials <br /> <br />w~re authorized to execute the following agreements: <br /> <br /> With John R. Daniell, Appraiser, dated June 19, 1961, to furnish certain en- <br />gineering services in connection with construction of a grade separation crossing <br />under the AT&SF Railway Company and Southern Pacific Railroad Company tracks at <br />First Street, at the rate of $10.00 per hour, with a total maximum payment not to <br />exceed $4,300.00, <br /> <br /> With Electrical Products Company, Snack Shops, Inc.,and Charles L. Fox, dated <br />June 19, 1961, to construct an electric sign in front of 901 W. 17th Street, which <br />extends over and upon the established setback line, <br /> <br /> With Powell Neon Sign C~mpany, Cal-Va Dairy and H. L. Hunt, dated Jane 19, <br />1961, to construct an electric sign in front of 4226 Bolsa Avenue, which extends <br />over and upon the established setback line, <br /> <br /> With Triple "A" Neon Company and United California Bank, Lessee and Owner, <br />dated June 19, 1961, to construct an electric sign in front of 501 No. Main Street, <br />which extends over and upon the established setback line, and <br /> <br /> With Diehl, Evans and Company, dated June 19, 1961, for annual auditing ser- <br />vices fQr the fiscal year beginning July l, 1961 and ending June 30, 1962~ in the <br />sum of $2,500.00. <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, that escrow in- <br /> <br />structions be approved and signed for certain properties and with the following <br /> <br />persons: <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 46174-F, dated May 11, 1961, with Gertrude Rowland, <br />Executrix of the estate of John Fredrick Avas, for drainage easement north of Smel- <br />tzer Avenue~ west of Newhope Street, in the sum of $1,122.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 46334-C, dated June 13, 1961, with Bill J. and Annie L. <br />Dedmon, for real property on the north side of Edinger Avenue, east of Maple Street~ <br />in the sum of $13,700.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 46268-C, dated May 22, 1961, and Amendments to Escrow <br />Instructions dated June 6, 14 and 15, 1961, with George W. and Beverley J. Boxberger~ <br />for real property on proposed Fairview Street, west of Tenth Street, in the sum of <br />$17,500.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 390820-LFM, dated June 9, 1961, with Antone and Anna A. <br />Borchard, for a park site southeast of Delhi Road and Raitt Street, in the sum of <br />$173,987.50, and <br /> <br /> Amendment to Escrow Instructions No. 46492-C, dated June 19, 1961, with J. <br />Blake and Vera Jo Woolbright, wherein Sellers approve payment for reconveyance of <br />loan; for real property west of King Street, north of Ninth Street. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Resolution en- <br /> <br />titled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 61-153 accepting deeds where the City is <br />paying a cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Gertrude Rowland, as Executrix of the estate of John Fredrick Avas, for drain- <br /> <br />age easement north of Smeltzer Avenue, west of Newhope Street, in the sum of <br /> <br />$1,122.00; from Bill J. and Annie L. Dedmon, for real property on the north side <br /> <br />of Edinger Avenue, east of Maple Street, in the sum of $13,700.O0; and from George <br /> <br />W. and Beverly J.
