<br /> and to build an addition to same with a reduced south side yard, on property at
<br /> 2020-2024 No. Broadway, in the "P" District, wherein Applicant appeals Planning
<br /> Commission's condition that the west building wall contain translucent glass.

<br /> Schlueter and carried, ac tion wa s continued to July 17~ 1961.

<br /> 0~ motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by B~ew~r and carried, MAp of Tract No.
<br /> ~022, filed by Frontier Homes, for the dedication to the public of Greenvill~
<br /> Harvard Street, Camden Place, Sullivan Street, and Fairview street, to use for
<br /> street and highway purposes, and bond in the sum of $76,000.00 were approved; li-
<br /> cense fee in the sum of $B~750.00 accepted, and agreement covering improvements
<br /> dered signed.

<br /> On motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, Map of Traet No.
<br /> hO40, filed by Practical Builders, Inc., for the dedication to the public use for
<br /> street purposes King Street, Washington Avenue, 12th Street and Cascade Street, and
<br /> bond in the sum of $23,000.00 were approved; license fee in the sum of $1,000.00
<br /> accepted, and agreement covering improvements ordered signed.

<br />Cn~munication was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of
<br />Preliminsry Record of Survey Map No. 208, filed by Leland N. Hills, creating two
<br />lots located on the east side of Bewle~ Street, appraximately 150 feet south of
<br />Eleventh Street, subject to conditions. Mrs. Margaret Hills, lO12 No. Bewley
<br />reqUested clarification of Condition "e" as to the business license tax payment of
<br />$100.00, and was advised by the Planning Director that the tax payment is $50.00
<br />not $100.00, due to a lot split. On motion of CounciLman Brewer, seconded by
<br />ter and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 208 , filed by Leland N.Hllls
<br />was approved, subject to conditions.

<br />On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, proper official
<br />were authorized to execute the following agreements:

<br /> With William N. Johnston and ELmer F. Nelson, Partners, dated June 28, 1961,
<br />for their cost, in the amount of $4,018.60, to construct an off-site sanitary sewer
<br />to connect to existing City sewers, as 4elineate~ on Tract No. 3713, (m Jackson
<br />Street from the center line of Sugar Avenue to a point 657 feet north, the sum of
<br />$2.71 per foot on the west side of the street; and on Sugar Avenue from a point
<br />five feet east to a point 220 feet west of the Center line of Jackson Street, the
<br />sum of $2.71 per foot on each side of the street,

<br /> With the County Flood Control District, dated July 3, 1961, to relocate water
<br />line facilities on Morningside Drive and Westminster Avenue, as part of the
<br />tion of East Garden Grove-Wintersburgh Channel, Project C5,
<br />
<br /> With the Farmers Underwriters Association, dated July 3, 1961, in considerat
<br />of the mutual benefits, prior agreements and obligatiens, agreeing that the require.
<br />ments of paragraph l, Resolution No. 59-88 will be satisfied by the recording in
<br />the office of County Recorder, of an instrument entitled "Declaration of Covenants,
<br />Conditions and Restrictions - Tract Number 337~" by the Developer, while Farmers
<br />Security Company is the record owner of'said lots in said Tract; and Developer
<br />that said record owner will record said Declaration while titles to said lots stand
<br />of record in the name of Farmers Security Company, and
<br />
<br /> With Argus Homes, Inc., dated July 3, 1961, to recover the cost of off-site
<br />sanitary sewer connection to existing City sewers within the property of Tract No.
<br />BT~l, located within the area of Wright Street, Mabury Street and Seventeenth

<br />It was moved by CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, that Escrow
<br />Instructions No. 46123-E, dated April 12, 1961, be approved and signed with B. B.
<br />and Olive M. Mason, for real property on the north side of 6th Street, east of
<br />Flower Street, in Civic Center .site, in the sum of $11, O00.O0; and Amendment to
<br />Instructions dated May 8, 1961, that in addition to the $11, OO0.O0 called rod the
