REL:jd(12) <br />5/30/90 <br /> <br />251 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-~0 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE LAND USE <br />ELEMENT OF THE GENERAL PLAN (GPA 90-7) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa <br />Ana, after noticed public hearing, approved an amendment to the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set forth; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed and considered the <br />initial environmental study and negative declaration prepared <br />for such proposed General Plan amendment; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council, <br />hearing, concurs in the planning <br />General Plan Amendment; <br /> <br /> after duly noticed public <br />Commission's approval of said <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The adoption of said General Plan amendment will <br />not have a significant effect on the environment, and the nega- <br />tive declaration prepared for said amendment is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of <br />the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is hereby amended to <br />redesignate that area of the city shown on Exhibit A, attached <br />hereto and incorporated herein, from the "Medium Density Resi- <br />dential'' category to the "Low Density Residential" category. <br /> <br /> 3. The "Low-Medium Density Residential" land use <br />category is hereby reestablished in the general plan, with <br />maximum density of eleven (1t) dwelling units per acre. <br /> <br />a <br /> <br /> 4. The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element of <br />the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana is further amended <br />to redesignate those areas of the city shown on Exhibit B, at- <br />tached hereto and incorporated herein, from the "Medium Density <br />Residential" category to the "Low-Medium Density Residential" <br />category. <br /> <br /> 5. Except as otherwise provided in paragraph 6 <br />hereinbelow, any real property which on or before meets either <br />or both of the following conditions may be developed in accord- <br />ance with the density limitations of the General Plan as it <br />existed immediately prior to its amendment by this Resolution: <br /> <br />(a) Residential development was approved for the <br /> <br /> <br />
