RESOLUTION NO. 90-074 <br /> <br />REL:mb(21) <br />6/20/90 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CON- <br />DITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 90-7 TO ALLOW <br />A BOARD AND CARE FACILITY AT 3730 <br />SOUTH GREENVILLE STREET IN THE C1 DIS- <br />TRICT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit Application No. 90-7, <br />to allow a board and care facility at 3730 South Greenville <br />Street in the C1 district, was approved by the Planning Com- <br />mission on May 29, 1990 subject to certain conditions, including <br />a condition that 24 off-street parking spaces be provided; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, by Appeal No. 90-4, requested <br />a reduction in the number of required parking spaces from 24 to <br />23; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council held a duly noticed public <br />hearing on June 18, 1990 on Conditional Use Permit No. 90-7 <br />pursuant to such appeal; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Based on the evidence submitted at the abovesaid <br />hearing, this Council finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br />Se <br /> <br />The proposed board and care facility will provide a <br />service which will contribute to the general well- <br />being of the neighborhood and community. The proposed <br />facility offers an option to a growing senior citizen <br />population and will provide a needed service to the <br />City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />be <br /> <br />The proposed board and care facility will not be <br />detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare <br />of residents in the vicinity. The proposed use will <br />be maintained to impose minimal impacts to residents <br />in the vicinity. <br /> <br />Ce <br /> <br />The proposed board and care facility will enhance the <br />economic stability of the area by creating a use which <br />is beneficial to the neighborhood and the community. <br /> <br />de <br /> <br />The proposed facility will comply with all uniform <br />building code requirements and conditions as well as <br />Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> <br />267 <br /> <br /> <br />
