RESOLUTION NO. 90-074 REL:mb(21) 6/20/90 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING CON- DITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 90-7 TO ALLOW A BOARD AND CARE FACILITY AT 3730 SOUTH GREENVILLE STREET IN THE C1 DIS- TRICT. WHEREAS, Conditional Use Permit Application No. 90-7, to allow a board and care facility at 3730 South Greenville Street in the C1 district, was approved by the Planning Com- mission on May 29, 1990 subject to certain conditions, including a condition that 24 off-street parking spaces be provided; and WHEREAS, the applicant, by Appeal No. 90-4, requested a reduction in the number of required parking spaces from 24 to 23; and WHEREAS, this Council held a duly noticed public hearing on June 18, 1990 on Conditional Use Permit No. 90-7 pursuant to such appeal; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: 1. Based on the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing, this Council finds and determines as follows: Se The proposed board and care facility will provide a service which will contribute to the general well- being of the neighborhood and community. The proposed facility offers an option to a growing senior citizen population and will provide a needed service to the City of Santa Ana. be The proposed board and care facility will not be detrimental to the health, safety or general welfare of residents in the vicinity. The proposed use will be maintained to impose minimal impacts to residents in the vicinity. Ce The proposed board and care facility will enhance the economic stability of the area by creating a use which is beneficial to the neighborhood and the community. de The proposed facility will comply with all uniform building code requirements and conditions as well as Chapter 41 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. 267
