325 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-088 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING AND REGU- <br /> LATING FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE ADMINIS- <br /> TRATION AND ENFORCEMENT OF CHAPTER 8 OF <br />THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE AND REPEALING <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 87-38. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Santa Ana finds <br />and determines that the fees and charges herinafter set forth <br />are established in amounts sufficient to provide revenue equal <br />to the costs of administration and enforcement of the <br />provisions of Chapter 8 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code, and <br />are reasonable and fairly allocated on the basis of burdens <br />imposed and benefits received by the persons required to pay <br />such fees and charges: <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA that fees and charges for permits, plan <br />checks, inspections, and investigations pursuant to Chapter 8, <br />'Buildings and Structures' of the Santa Ana Municipal Code are <br />hereby established and regulated as follows: <br /> <br />1. (a) <br /> <br />GENERAL PROVISIONS <br /> <br /> Unless otherwise provided, payment of fees and <br />charges as established herein shall be made to the Building <br />Official or his authorized representative at the time of <br />initial application or request for the permit or service for <br />which a fee is charged or imposed. No permit shall be issued <br />to any person, firm, or corporation unless all fees therefor <br />have been paid in full. <br /> <br />Exception: Waiver of Fee <br /> <br /> No permit or plan check fees required by this <br />resolution will be charged for projects performed under <br />contract with the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed <br />by employees of the city of Santa Aha on City owned <br />properties. However, this fee waiver does not exempt any party <br />from obtaining a permit for such work not exempt, such party <br />from conforming to the procedures established by the City nor <br />from compliance with all applicable City and State ordinances <br />regulating such work. <br /> <br /> <br />
