065 <br /> <br />REL:mb 12/3/90 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 90-113 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA CERTIFYING THE <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT AND <br />ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT, MAKING <br />ENVIRONMENTAL FINDINGS AND A <br />STATEMENT OF OVERRIDING CONSIDER- <br />ATIONS, AND APPROVING A MITIGATION <br />MONITORING/REPORTING PROGRAM, FOR <br />THE WIDENING OF BRISTOL STREET, FROM <br />WARNER AVENUE TO MEMORY LANE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to widen and <br />improve Bristol Street, between Warner Avenue and Memory Lane, from <br />a four-lane, undivided arterial to a six-lane, divided arterial <br />street, and to modify several intersections of Bristol Street with <br />crossing arterial streets, in order to improve the vehicular <br />traffic carrying capacity, efficiency and safety, aesthetics, and <br />pedestrian circulation of this major thoroughfare; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a Final Environmental Impact Statement/Report <br />has been prepared for the project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission, after duly a noticed <br />public hearing, has recommended that the City Council certify the <br />Final Environmental Impact Statement/Report and approve the <br />project; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the city Council has held a duly noticed public <br />hearing on the proposed project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />The city Council hereby certifies that the Final <br />Environmental Impact Statement/Report for the project has <br />been completed in accordance with the requirements of the <br />National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and the <br />California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and is <br />therefore considered equivalent to and a substitute for <br />a Final Environmental Impact Report. The city Council <br />further certifies that the Final Environmental Impact <br />Statement/Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIS/FEIR) <br />for the project was presented to the City Council, and <br />that the City Council reviewed and considered the <br />information in the FEIS/FEIR for the project prior to <br />approving the project. <br /> <br />The mitigation measures identified in the FEIS/FEIR for <br />the project are incorporated into the project as <br />conditions that will be included in the final street <br /> <br /> <br />
