2. Bridge widehing design and construction will <br /> comply with applicable requirements of the <br /> "Nationwide Permit" provisions pursuant to <br /> the Federal Clean Water Act and with <br /> applicable requirements of a Streambed <br /> Alteration Permit issued by the California <br /> Department of Fish and Game. <br /> <br />Temporary culverts, ditches, catch basins, <br />dams, and settling ponds will be installed in <br />construction areas to maintain existing <br />drainage flows and collect excess water and <br />sediment coming from construction sites. <br />Sediments collected will be disposed of at a <br />Class II or Class III disposal facility. <br /> <br />If reconstruction of the Santiago Creek Bridge <br />supports is determ~ed to be necessary, <br />construction activities will be limited to dry <br />months. Construction will be coordinated <br />with the Orange County Environmental <br />Management Agency and will comply with <br />their requirements. Temporary drainage and <br />erosion controls such as sandbags, ditches, <br />dams culverts, catch basins, and settling ponds <br />will be used, as needed.
