Mitigation Measure <br /> <br />A strategy will be d6veloped for the use and <br />tream~eat of remnant parcels adjacent to the <br />widened roadway, in conjunction with the <br />Project Area Committee by City staff. <br /> <br />Residential Displacement <br /> <br />All displaced residents will receive relocation <br />assistance from the City of Santa Aha, in <br />accordance with the Department of <br />Traasportation, Federal Highway Adraln- <br />istration, Uniform Reloeafmn Assistance and <br />Real Property Acquisition Regulations for <br />Federally Assisted Programs (49 CRF, Part <br />24), March 1989 (a.k.a. the Uniform Act), and <br />California Department of Transportation <br />guidelines. Assistance will be provided by <br />relocation agents with appropriate foreign <br />language skills, and will include information <br />on the availability and prices of homes for <br />sale and for rent that are comparable, decent, <br />safe, and sanitary.
