TABLE 1 <br />MITIGATION MONITORING PROGRAM ACTIVITIES <br /> <br />Pa§e 8 of 16 <br /> <br />Mitigation Measure <br /> <br />The Register will continue to comply with state and iecleral <br />I~a~rdous materials communication and notification programs <br />including, but not limited to, Proposition 6~ and Superfund <br />Amendment and Reauthoriz~tion Act ($Al~k) Title IlL Evidence o! <br />compliance will be forwarded to the Santa Aha Fire Department on <br />an annual basis. <br /> <br />The storage, transport and disposal of hazardous waste will continue <br />to occur in complmnCe with local, state and federal r~ulations. <br />The Register will, to the extent feasible and practical, continue to <br />utilize waste recyclers for the disposition of waste ink, waste oil and <br />waste solvents. Documentation of disposal practices will be <br />maintained onsite, in the form o! or in additin~ to manifests, and <br />will be available for review by the Orange County Health Care <br />Agency Environmental Health Department for mitigation monitoring <br />purposes and other appropriate ogencies. <br /> <br />An asbestos survey for the affected apartment complex will be <br />conducted and appropriate hazard abatement completed by a <br />qualified/certified contractor prior to demolition. Evidence of <br />complkanCe will be submitted to the Santa Aua Building Department <br />prior to issuance of demolition permits, or as deemed appropriate by <br />the Building Department. Asbestos abatement activities will include <br />notification of the Orange County Health Department, the AQMD <br />and other regulatory agencies as appropriate. Any asbestos <br />containing materiats will be disposed of in landfills certified to <br />accept these materials. <br /> <br />The Santa Ana Fire Department requires the following fire and <br />safety provisions to be incorporated into project plans: <br /> <br />a.
