403 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91-038 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 90-110 TO PROVIDE FOR CONTINUATION <br />OF PARTIALLY-PAID MILITARY LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR CITY EMPLOYEES <br />CALLED TO ACTIVE DUTY WITH THE ARMED FORCES AND CONTINUATION <br />OF BENEFITS FOR THEIR DEPENDENTS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 10, 1990, the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana adopted Resolution 90-110 providing for partially paid <br />military leave of absence for City employee~ called to active duty <br />and continued health and dental benefits for'their dependents; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the pay and benefits authorized by said Resolution <br />90-110 will terminate on June 30, 1991, unless extended by the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to continue to help city <br />employees.and their families with financial hardships resulting <br />from being called to active duty'in connection with the crisis in <br />the Middle East <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 5 of Resolution 90-110 is amended to read as <br />follows: <br /> <br /> "5.
