<br /> Avenue and Newport Boulevard, consisting of 66 acres, and advising the boundaries

<br /> although it cuts property lines,

<br /> Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Eeinl¥ and carried, the Clerk was instructedto
<br /> notify the District that the City of Santa Ana does not wish to pay out of Municipa
<br /> funds any portion of the amount of taxes to be derived from the area of the Metro-
<br /> l~litan Water District lying within the City, for the fiscal year 1962-1963.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Manager was
<br />authorized to pay expenses,amounting to $301.3~, incurred by the Council in connec-
<br />tion with advertising the City of Santa Ana at the League of California Cities Con-
<br />ference, in San Francisco, October 22-26, 1961.

<br /> On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the written recom-
<br /> mendation of the Manager, dated November 16, 1961, was approved for salary step in-
<br /> creases for sevenemployees, effective December l, 1961.
<br />
<br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the application of
<br /> United Cerebral Palsy Association of Orange County, Inc., was granted to solicit
<br /> funds January ll, 12 and lB, 1962, for services and programs for the aid of Cerebral
<br /> PalSied in Orange County.

<br /> On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman
<br /> Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, bond in the sum of $61,OOO.00, filed by
<br /> Greschner-Rabec, for the improvements on 27 parcels located generally on the north
<br /> side of First StrUt between Townsend and Sullivan Streets, in Tract No. 3932, was
<br /> ordered released and improvements accepted as completed.
