<br />Communication was again presented from the Department of Public Works approvi~ th~
<br />
<br />request of the Pacific Electric Railway Company for a permit for a period of 21
<br />
<br />years, to construct a spur track across Talbert Road, in the vicinity of proposed
<br />
<br />Fairview Street, to serve the R.C. Can Company, for the handling of freight cars
<br />
<br />with two train movements per day over the track, and recommending that the permit
<br />
<br />be approved by Resolution, incorporating therein conditions of approval. On
<br />
<br />motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the cammunication frem
<br />the D~partment of Public Works and the Application of the Pacific Electric Railway
<br />ComPany~ were ~eceived and filed.

<br />On motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Hubbard and carried, proper officials
<br />
<br />were authorized to execute the following agreements:
<br />
<br />With the County for renewal of lease for a period of thirty months, commencing
<br />November 1, 1961, for Agricultural ExtenSion Service, Farm Advisors! Rooms 12B,
<br />12~, 125, 126, 127 and 129, and certain storage rooms in the basement designate~
<br />"A", "B" and "C", for office and storage space, at a rental of $B14.00 per
<br />month, at the Community Center Building,
<br />
<br />With the Atchison, Topeka and Sant~ Fe Railway Company, for Pipe Line License
<br />for a 12 inch water main crossing in Lyon Street just north of McFadden Avenue,
<br />and
<br />
<br />To pay Messrs. Goode and Goode, Appraisers, one-half of the cost of appraisal
<br />of property on Walnut Street with a view to selling said property to Santa Ana
<br />Unified School District who will pay the other half of the cost.

<br />pounding fees for dogs from $1.00 to $2.00 and the feeding fees for cats from 25

<br />south of Santa Clara Avenue; from Glenn H. and Lorena B. Copeland, granting an
<br />easement for traffic signal purposes on the north side of Westminster Avenue, east
<br />of Berrydale Street; from C.A.L. & M. Properties, granting an easement for street
<br />and drainage purposes on Birch Street, south of Central Avenue, and from S. A.
<br />Realty Company, a Delaware Corporation, gra~ting an easement for street and drain-
