Greenberg <br /> <br />Jack Rimel, Attorney, 310 North Main Street, presented a letter and two plats regarding <br /> <br />their objections to certain conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br /> <br />Heinly and carried, the communication and two plats were received and filed. Attorney Rimel <br /> <br />stated they had no objections to any of the Conditions except E, F, G and H. It was moved <br /> <br />by Councilman Heinly and seconded by Hubbard, that Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. <br /> <br />233, filed by Boyle Engineering and Martin E. Lindsay, et ux, be approved, subject to the <br /> <br />conditions as recommended by the Planning Department with the exception of Conditions G <br /> <br />and H, whereby the City will waive the requirement for improvements in exchange for the <br /> <br />dedication of .19 acres of land. On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded <br /> by Hubbard and carried, the Director of Public Works was instructed to prepare plans and <br /> specifications for the improvements of said northerly parcel, at the earliest practical <br /> date, said improvements to be made in exchange for the dedication of .19 acres. <br /> Communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of Tentative <br /> Tract 'Map No. 4503, filed by J.B. Greenberg, combining lots located on the east side of <br /> South Main Street about 150 feet south of Central Avenue (Reversion to acreage map), <br /> subject to conditions. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, <br /> <br />Tentative Tract Map No. 4503, filed by J.B. Greenberg, was approved subject to conditions. <br />. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Council- <br />man Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-554 amending Santa Aha Municipal Code Sections <br /> 9324., 9324.1., 9324.2. and 9324.3. relating to alleys" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, <br /> A.A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /># <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Council- <br />man Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance No. NS-555 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha <br /> granting to California Gas Transmission Company, a California <br /> corporation, its successors and assigns, the Franchise to construct, <br /> maintain, operate, renew, repair, change the size of and remove or <br /> abandon in place a pipe line, necessary or convenient for the <br /> grantee's business in, under, over, along, or across certain public <br /> streets, alleys and ways dedicated to public use in the City of <br /> Santa Aha" <br /> <br />was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Heinly, <br /> Bob Brewer, A.A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, proper officials were <br />authorized to execute the following agreements: <br /> <br /> With Harold Gimeno for the design of the proposed Museum Storage Building and the <br />Air Conditioning of the Existing Building: and <br /> <br /> With Carter Sign Company, Triangle Steel & Supply, and Towner Tool & Steel, to <br />construct an electric sign at 2111 West Seventeenth Street, which extends over and upon the <br />established setback line. <br /> <br /> <br />
