<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, copy of the Minutes
<br />
<br />of the Boundary Cc~mission was received and-filed, regarding the proposed annexation
<br /> designated
<br />of territory to the City of Santa Ana/"Memory Lane and Westwood North Annexation," ad.
<br />
<br />vising the boundaries of the proposed annexation are reasonably definite and certain
<br />
<br />although it cuts property lines,
<br />
<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled
<br />
<br />"Resolution No. 62-6 initiating proceedings for the annexation of
<br />territory to the City of Santa Ana, designating an appropriate
<br />name for said territory of ~Memory Lane and Westwood,'North Annex'
<br />and~ giving notice of pr~test hea~in~ thereon"
<br />
<br />and setting hearing date on February 19, 1962, was considered and passed by the fol-
<br />
<br />lowing vote:

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, authorization was
<br />granted for the employment of Martin & Chapman Co., Ltd., to do all necessary print-
<br />
<br />lng, furnish all supplies necessary in the holding of the Special Revenue Bond Electi~
<br />
<br />to be held in the Spring of 1962, and to do all things necessary to prepare for and
<br />
<br />hold said election.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the request of the
<br />
<br />Department of Public Works was granted, and authorization given to R. J.Noble C~mpar~
<br />
<br />to complete the following 'extra work' items in connection with Project 121, construc-
<br />
<br />tion of Edinger Avenue frc~ Center Street to the Santa Ana River; Project C-56, con-
<br />
<br />struction of Fairview Street frem Edinger Avenue to McFadden Avenue; and Project C-58
<br />
<br />construction of Fairview Street from McFadden Avenue to First Street:
