Lump Sum $243.40 <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Brower and carried, bond in the sum of $5,800.00, filed by Max Zimmer in <br />December, 1955, for the improvements on two parcels located on the west side of Bristol <br />Street between St. Gertrude Place and Delhi Road, was ordered released, in accordance <br />with the understanding the City had with Mr. Zimmer when a new bond was filed in the sum <br /> <br />of $3,200.00, for Preliminary Map No.. 177, Record of Survey Map 366, in October, 1960. <br />. <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Brewer and carried, bond in the sum of $228,000.00, filed by ~indsor Park, <br />for the improvements of McFaddeh' Avenue, Lingan Lane, Dahl Lane, Arapahoe Drive, Shawnee <br />Drive, Mohawk Drive, Nakoma Drive, Huron Drive, Fairviow Street, Elder Avenue, Borchard <br />Avenue and Ottawa Street, in Tract No. 3937, was ordered released and improvements accept. <br /> <br />ed as completed. <br />. <br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, <br />seconded by Brower and carried, bond in the sum of $23,000.00, filed by Bev-Bert, Inc., <br />Practical Builders, Inc., for the improvements on 20 lots located west of the inter- <br />sections of King Street with 12th Street and ~ashington Avenue, in Tract No. 4040, was <br />ordered released and improvements accepted as completed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brower and carried, the oral request of the <br />Manager was approved, for a Budget transfer from Fund 51-551-681, Public Works Major <br />Streets, to Fund 51-536-666, Public Works Storm Drains, in the sum of $5,000.00. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brower and carried, the Purchasing Agent <br />was authorized to advertise for proposals to furnish and deliver the following: <br /> <br /> 1. One Aerial Lift, truck; mounted, Specification No. 621-33. <br /> <br /> 2. Fifty 12" Gate Valves; Fifty 8" Gate Valves; Two Hundred 6" Gate <br /> Valves, Specification No. 664-8. <br /> <br /> 3. T~o Hundred Fire Hydrants, Specification No. 633-8. <br /> <br /> 4.Two Thousand domestic wa~ meters, 5/8" x 3/4", Specification <br /> No. 665-10; <br /> <br />bids to be opened February 5, 1962. <br /> <br />On recommendation of the Manager and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by <br />Schlueter and carried, the request of Donald W. Morrison, ll06 North Linwood Avenue, for <br />Children at Play signs on Linwo0d AVenue between 17th Street and Grace Place, was denied <br /> <br />and the communication ordered filed. <br />,, <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the communication and <br />Resolution from the Department of Public Works recommending installation of "two-way <br />stop" at the intersection of Ross and ~econd Streets was received and filed. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following communica- <br />tions requesting the painting of white lines on certain streets were received and filed: <br /> <br /> Petition signed by Mrs. Floyd M.
