Logue <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, proper offfcfal~ <br />were authorized to execute agreement with the county increasing the impounding feesllil <br />for dogs from $1.00 to $2.00 and the feeding fees for cats from 25 cents to 50 r~ <br /> <br />cents each. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, authorization <br /> <br />was granted to pay the sum of $8,842.25 to the County of Orange, Sheriff's Depart- <br /> <br />ment, for care of in the County Jail during the six months ending <br />~ecember 31, l~l.prisoners <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, that escrow <br /> <br />instructions be approved and signed for certain properties and with the following <br /> <br />persons: <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 863936-HRB, dated January 29, 1962, with Roy J. <br />and Edith May Lyon, for real property on the southeast corner of Fifth and <br />Bush Streets, in the sum of $90,000.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 308727-MGL Sr., dated February 8, 1962, with R. <br />E. Logue, for real property on Fairview Street north of Ninth Street, in the <br />sum of $9,000.00, <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 47318-C, dated February 5, 1962, with Clarence G. <br /> and Thelma J. Berry, for street easement on the east side of Andres Place sour <br /> of Melric Drive, and <br /> <br /> Escrow Instructions No. 321692-ET, dated January 30, 1962, with Raymond <br /> A. Brandt, Administrator of the Estate of ~ory H. Prince, also known as E. H. <br /> Prince, for real property on the southwest corner of Parton and Eighth Streets~ <br /> in the Civic Center area, in the sum of $47,500.00, of which $1,500.00 is fDr <br /> personal property, and $~6,000.00 is for real property. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution en- <br /> <br />t it led: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 62-39 accepting deed where the City is <br />paying a cash consideration" <br /> <br />from Roy J. and Edith May Lyon, for real property at the southeast corner of FiFth <br /> <br />and Bush Streets, in the sum of $90,000.00, was considered and passed by the fol- <br /> <br />lowing vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Royal E. Copelan <br /> <br /> water main easement on the east side of Berrydale Street, north of 17th Street;! <br />for <br /> <br />from The Griset Foundation, a California Non-Profit Organization, for street ease- <br />ment on the south side of Edinger Avenue, west of Center Street; from Honer Develop <br /> <br />ment Co., a corporation, for street easement on Buffalo Avenue, west of Flower <br /> ~a Quitclaim Deed <br />Street; and/from Sunny Homes, Inc., for real property on the east side of Raitt <br /> <br />Street, north of Edinger Avenue, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E.
