<br />to present an Ordinance that would permit the Council, under certain circumstances,!
<br />to use a different procedure other than bonds in the guaranteeing to the City~ that-;

<br /> The Manager orally reported a "Bus Loading Zone" has been established on the east
<br /> side of Center Street from Edinger AVenue to 170 feet south of Edinger Avenue, ref-

<br />erence request of the Santa Ana Unified and Junior College Districts for the mark-
<br />lng of 170 feet of the east sSde curb of Center Street south from Edinger Avenue
<br />for a "No Parking - Bus Loading and Unloading Only Zone," or no parking between
<br />7:00 A. M. - 8~30 A. M. and 2:30 P. M. - 3:30 P. M., except for school buses. On
<br />motion of Councilw~n Heinly, secended by Hubbard and carried, the c~ication was
<br />received and filed.~

<br />ed to schedule a sky diving event at Hener Plaza Shopping Center, this Spring, on
<br />· condition that the applicant, Honer Plaza Businessmen's Association, furnish to th~I
<br />
<br />City of Santa Ana a Certificate of Insurance n~mfng the City of Santa Ana, its
<br />
<br />officers and employees, as being covered under said Certificate of Insurance in th~
<br />amount of $500,000.00 for an~ one incident and $500,000,00 for any one occurrence.

<br />lease beginning October 1, 1961, and ending March 31, 196~. On motion of Council-
<br />
<br />man Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the matter was continued until the
<br />
<br />next meeting.

<br />The Manager orally reported an investigation has been made and reccmmaended denial,
<br />
<br />reference request of the residents of Tam~ Lane for intersection control to improve
<br />
<br />the traffic conditious on Tamy Lane between 21st Street and Santa Clara Avenue. On
<br />
<br />motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by HUbbard and carried, the request for inter
<br />
<br />sectioncontrol on TamY Lane was denied.

<br />A petition was presented, signed by approximately 15 persons, requesting two street
<br />
<br />lights in the 1700 block West Pine Street. The Manager orally reported an investi-
<br />
<br />gation has been made and au authorization sent to the Edison Cummany to install two
<br />street lights on existing wooden poles, and rec~ended that the residents of Pine
<br />
<br />Street be infomed the street lights will be installed within approximately ninety
<br />
<br />days. On motion of Councdl,~n Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the pet~- ,
