· , 517 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-078 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING THE RECLAIMED <br /> WATER RATES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Orange County Water District (OCWD) has <br />constructed and operates a water treatment facility and <br />distribution pipeline system for the purpose of reclaiming <br />wastewater; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />potable uses, <br />and <br /> <br />reclaimed water is <br />including landscape <br /> <br />suitable for a number of non- <br />irrigation and industrial use; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana and the OCWD have entered into <br />an agreement whereby the city shall purchase reclaimed water from <br />OCWD and resell said water for appropriate landscape irrigation and <br />industrial uses within the jurisdictional and service boundaries of <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> The price to be paid by the customer for all reclaimed water <br />delivered by the City is set at 80% of the potable water rate. <br /> <br /> Furthermore, any future adjustments in the potable water rate <br />shall automatically adjust the reclaimed water rate to 80% of the <br />new potable water rate. <br /> <br />ADOPTED this ~7th day of A~gust , 1992. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Young Absent <br />Pulido Aye <br />Acosta Ab.~e~t <br />Griset Aye <br />McGuigan Aye <br />Norton Aye <br />Richardson Ay~ <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br /> <br />
