RESOLUTION NO. 96 - 036 <br /> <br /> A aENDED <br /> <br />EL1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF S)tNTA ANA <br />ESTABLISHING CONSERVATION EASED WATER RATESt STANDBY SERVICE <br />CHA~GESt WATER SERVICE INSTALLATION CM~RGES AND CII~RGES FOR <br />THE INSTALLATION OF NEW WATER MAINS AND FRONT FOOTAGE CHARGES <br />FOR CONNECTION TO EXISTING WATER MAINS FOR WHICH NO PAYMENT <br />MAS BEEN MADE PREVIOUSLY~ EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1~ 1997. <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That effective January 1, 1997 the following <br />conservation based water rates and service charges are to be <br />levied and collected for each water service to which water is <br />supplied by the City, or to which a standby service is provided, <br />pursuant to Section 39-21 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code. <br /> <br />A two tiered rate structure will apply to all <br />customers, unless otherwise stated herein. The rates <br />are as follows: <br /> <br />Base Rate - * $0.982 per 100 cubic feet <br /> <br />Tailblock Rate - <br /> <br />$1.253 per 100 cubic feet <br /> <br />* Includes 1996 commodity adjustment. <br /> <br />The quantity of water received by each customer at the base <br />rate will vary seasonally. For the purposes described <br />herein, Summer Season is defined to include the months of <br />June, July, August, and September. Winter Season is <br />defined to include the balance of a calendar year. <br /> <br />First 2500 cubic feet per month at the Base Rate <br />All water above 2500 cubic fee per month at the Tailblock <br />Rate. <br /> <br />Winter season A]locatlon: <br /> <br />First 2000 cubic feet per month at the Base Rate. <br /> <br />All water above 2000 cubic feet per month at the Tailblock <br />Rate. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
