Additional determinations. <br /> <br /> During preliminary analysis under this part, the Environmental <br />Coordinator shall also determine the following: <br /> <br /> (1) Whether the project is one for which the City of Santa Ana <br />is the lead Agency, and, if not, whether the lead agency has <br />complied with the requirements of CEQA. <br /> <br /> (2) Whether the project is one for which adequate environ- <br />mental documents have previously been completed. <br /> <br />34. Notices of Exemption. <br /> <br /> The Environmental Coordinator is authorized to prepare and <br />file Notices of Exemption on behalf of the City of Santa Ana. He <br />shall cause such notices to be filed after approvals of exempt <br />projects in any of the following circumstances: <br /> <br /> (1) Whenever the project approval is a variance, conditional <br />use permit, minor exception, or tentative subdivision map; <br /> <br /> (2) Whenever filing is requested by the project applicant; <br /> (3) Whenever filing is requested by the decision-making body. <br /> <br /> (4) Whenever filing is deemed necessary by the Environmental <br />Coodinator. <br /> <br />7 <br /> <br /> <br />
