<br />fic signal systems at the intersections of Warner Avenue and Flower Street,

<br />to be opened June 4, 1962.

<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of
<br />Department of Public Works was granted, and the M~nager authorized to sign an
<br />cation to the State Public Utilities C.'~,-.~ssion for authority to construct a grade
<br />separation on First Street between Evergreen Street and Grand Avenue, Gas Tax Pro-
<br />Ject 138 - First Street Underpass.

<br />On rec~endation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman
<br />Helnly, seconded by Hubbard end carried, bond in the sum of $49,000.00, filed by
<br />Tricon Development, Inc., for the improvements on 45 lots~located generally 660
<br />feet w~st of Verano Street and on the south side of Sugar Avenue, in Tract No.
<br />4178, was ordered released end improvements accepted as completed.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the application
<br />John A. Davis, Post 1680 V.F.W., Was approved to solicit funds May 24, 25,~ and 26,
<br />1962, for hospital or individual assistance to needy veterans, and for rehabilita-
<br />tion, welfare and service work for all veterans in this vicinity.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the request of
<br />Hanson-O'Rryan and Associates was granted to hold an auction May 12, 1962, at 8B8
<br />East First Street, of miscellaneous tools end home furnishings, belonging to
<br />ccm~anies, estates and individuals, per list submitted.
