689 REL: 1Z/8/92 RESOLUTION NO. 92-100 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DENYING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 92-010, WHICH SOUGHT TO ALLOW AN OFF-PREMISE ADVERTISING SIGN TO BE MAINTAINED AT VARIANCE WITH THE OFF- PREMISE SIGN REGULATIONS AT 1111 SOUTH HARBOR BOULEVARD WHEREAS, this Council held a public hearing on December 7, 1992, on Variance Application No. 92-010, which sought to allow relief from the city's off-premise advertising sign regulations and nonconforming use regulations for property located at 1111 South Harbor Boulevard. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: 1. Based upon the evidence submitted at the abovesaid hearing this Council finds and determines as follows: A. The strict application of the zoning regulations will not deprive the subject property of privileges not otherwise at variance with the intent and purpose of the provisions of this chapter; The existing building on the site may be maintained as a legal nonconforming use and provides the owner of the property with a viable economic use of that property. The subject sign is not necessary to the owner's economic use of the site. B.
