No. 62-109 <br />Authorize cond-mnat ion <br />property along So. side <br />Warner Ave. and W. side <br />Main St. for widening <br /> <br />C~.unicat ions <br />Boundary Commission, <br />City of Orange, et al <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by B~ewer and carried, the following Resolution en- <br /> <br />titled: <br /> <br />"Resolution No. 62-108 accepting a replacement deed with cash consideration <br />where deed originally accepted was lost in transmittal al~er its acceptance" <br /> <br />frem Genevieve Lowe Mar~in, for a portion of Brook Street in consideration of <br /> <br />$600.00, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, <br /> Bob Brewer., A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilme~ None <br />Absent, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly <br /> <br />On motion of Council~a~ Brewer~ seconded by Schlueter and carried, the following <br /> <br />cvmm~nications were received, filed, and where applicable referred to the proper <br /> <br />Departments for processing: <br /> <br /> Frem the Boundary C~maission regarding proposed annexation of territory to the <br /> City of Westminster, designated "Annexation No. B9," advising the boundaries of the <br />~proposed annexation are not definite and certain, and all documents were referred <br /> back to the City for correction and resubmission, <br /> <br /> From the Boundary Commission regarding proposed annexation of territor~ to the <br /> City of Tustin, designated "John Jacobs Annexation," located east of the Santa Ana <br /> Freeway, west of the Newport Freeway, advising the boundaries of the proposed an- <br />~nexation are reasonably definite and certain, <br /> <br /> From the City of Orange submitting copy of Resolution No. 1890, proposing to <br /> annex certain real property northeast of Hart and Walnut Streets, on the extreme <br />~east end of the City of Orange, designated "Annexation No. 192," <br /> <br /> Frem Secretary, Santa Ana Chamber of Commerce, advising the Board of Directors~ <br />~ at its meeting May il, voted to oppose the proposed econem~c study by Homer Hoyt <br />~and Associates, as the study would be duplicating informatmon now readily available, <br /> <br /> Frem the Downtown Santa Ana Association stating the action taken at a recent <br /> meeting, authorizing a survey of the entire City, analyzing the current state of <br /> its economy and projecting its potential and econc~ic growth, is a step in the <br /> right direction; and an initial survey of this sort by an outside disinterested <br />d~ftrmmay well provide the basis for the City staff to proceed with a program of <br /> planning and future development for all areas of the City, <br /> <br /> From Toastmasters International advising of the termination of its month to <br /> month tenancy of the space now occupied in the C~uity Center Building; and ex- <br />, pressing appreciation for the kindnesses and consideration extended to them as <br /> tenants, <br /> <br /> From Mrs. G.
