<br />George Townsend were reappointed to serve as members of the Board of Recreation

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of
<br />the Department of Public Works was approved for payment to Frank J.O'Conner
<br />in the total amount of $1,489.00, for City's share of costs on construction of
<br />Catch Basin and asphaltic concrete pavement on Fifth Street at Hawley Street, in
<br />connection with Variance No. 1587.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of
<br />the Department of Public Works was approved for payment to Paul Toberty, 1605
<br />Spurgeon Street, in the amount of $1,963.35, for street improvements on Memory Lane
<br />at Flower Street, in exchange for right-of-way dedication, reference Purchase
<br />
<br />No. J-04870 and Minute Order dated November 6, 1961, of which several adjustments
<br />in the actual quantities of work done have increased the cost to the City.
<br />
<br />On motion of Counc~l,mu Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of
<br />the Department of Public WorksLwas approved, and the proper officials authorized
<br />execute letter agreement dated May 28, 1962, with James M. MOntgcmery, Consulting
<br />Engineers, Inc., for a Hardy Cross System Analysis of the City's water system, at
<br />cost not to exceed $5,000.00.
<br />
<br />On motion of Counc~lm~n Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of
<br />the Department of Public Works was approved to increase the upper limit of Consult-
<br />ing Engineering Service Fees for Bristol Street Pumping Station from $7,500.00 to
<br />$9,250.00, as designated in Section V-(A) of letter agreement dated March 30, 1962,i
<br />with James M. Montgomery, Consulting Engineer.
<br />
<br />On recommendation of the Department of Public Works, and on motion of Councilman
<br />Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried~ bond in the sum of $34,000.00, filed by
<br />
<br />Pereus, Inc., for~the improvements on 30 lots located at the southwest corner of
<br /> in Tract ~159,
<br />Fruit and Mabury Streets,/was released and improvements accepted as completed.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of
<br />HansoniO'Bryan and Associates was granted to hold an auction June 16, 1962, of
<br />miscellaneous used home furnishings, belonging to fiDmnce companies, estates, and
<br />individuals~ per list submitted.

<br />signatures on Assessment District No. 221-S, to provide a sanitary sewer main, ser-
<br />vice laterals and manholes to service properties adjacent to Toy Way, a private
