On motion of Councilman Helnly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the bid of The Register was accepted for legal advertising. This being the date set for hearing on the annexation of property consisting of approximately ~2 acres, located at the northwest corner of Fairhaven Avenue and Cambridge Street, the Affidavits of Publication were received and filed, on motiol of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried. The Mayor asked the Clerk if any written protests had been received, and she replied there were none. Hear- ing closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution en- titled: "Resolution No. 62-112 declaring that majority protest has not been made against the annexation of territory under the name of '~Fair- haven and Cambridge Northwest Annex"" was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall Noes, Councilmen None Absent, Councilmen None The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Counc~l~u Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance eh- titled: "Ordinance declaring the annexation of territory designated 'Fair- haven and Cambridge Northwest Annex"" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 393, initiated by the Planning Cc.~..ission, proposing to amend Sectional District Map 17-5-10, to re- classify frc~ the A-1 District to the R-1 District, property approximately 330 feff by 1300 feet on the west side of Euclid (Verano) Street Immediately west of Robert: Drive, all as shown on Exhibit A.A. 393A; Planning Commaission recommended approval no protests were received and the hearing closed. The Council haviD~ unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment APPlication No. 393 and amending Sectional DiStrict Map 17-5-10 (Exhibit AA 39BA)" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 394, initiated by the Planning Co.-.~lssion, proposing to amend Sectional District Maps 18-5-9 and 1~-5-9, to addthe "B" suffix District to the existing residential District, for Districts that area presently zoned R-2 and R-~/~ the west side of Cypress Avenue measuring be reclassified to the R-2B and R-3 Distri~ from approximately 180 feet south of Walnut Street, south to Warner (Delhi) no protests were received and the hearing closed. all as shown on Exhibit A.A. 39 A, Planning Commission recommaended approval;/ Com- munication was presented from Harry Tancredi requesting thel~-~.~mb~of this until July 2, 1962.
