The Council having unanimously waived <br /> the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer <br /> and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa Ana Municipal Code to <br /> change district classification on Amendment Application No. 395 <br /> and amending Sectional District Map 12-5-10 (Exhibit AA 395A)" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and Placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 396, initiated by <br /> the Planning C~m-ission, proposing to amend Sectional District Map 23-5-10, to re- <br /> classify frc~ the R-1 District to the C-5 and R-lB Districts, property with approxi~ <br /> mately 440 feet of Bristol Street frontage and approximately 575 feet of depth on <br /> the west side of Bristol Street approximately 600 feet south of Edinger Avenue, allil <br /> as shown on Exhibit AA 396A; Planning C*~ission recommended approval; no protests <br /> were received and the hearing closed. Ralph Jensen, ll04 East 17th Street, EmplG <br />ee of Harry Tancredi, stated this property would not be suitable for R-2 developmentll <br />as it fronts on an 85-foot street with a traffic signal at the intersection, control~ <br />led cu~amercial development would not be detrimental as the property in question is <br /> <br /> <br />
