City Council met in regular session. Meeting called to order by the Mmyor. Present: Councilmen Absent: COuncilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, Dale H. Hein]~y, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall None The Pledge of Allegiance was given. Invocation was given by Reverend Gerald S. Bash, First Christian Church. Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of July 2, 1962, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved'as mailed, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried. Cella, Jr., M.D. Ordinance C.t This being the date set for hearing on amending the Zonin~ Ordinance of 1960 by creating a new Land Use District, proposed to be titled the PCD (Planned C~*-~uity Development District), no protests were received and the hearing closed. On motioz of Counci!ma~ Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the affidavit of publicatioz was received and filed. On motion of CouncNlmau Brewer, seconded by Heinly and carried, the Clerk was instructed to publish a second notice of hearing of merit to the Zon~BE Ordinance of 1960 by creating a new Land Use District, proposed to be titled the PCD (Planned Coa.aunity Development District), Sixth Draft, settiz the date of hearing on July 23, 1962. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No'. 391, filed by ~ret~.e F-,o~i~caid',,PropOSing t~e amend Se~i~aal .Di~st~ict MaP 2~-5-1o, to reclassify from the R'2 District to the C-1 District, property on the east side of Greenville Street, measuring from Pomona Street approxfmately 230 feet north, all as shown on E~hibit A.A. 391A; no protests were received and the hearing closed. The COUncil having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of Councilman Brewer, seconded by Heinly and carried, the following Ordin- ance entitled: "Ordinance amending Article IX of the Santa AnaMunicipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 391 and amending Sectional District Map 23-5-10 (Exhibit AA 391B)" was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. Councilman Heinly disqualified himself on the following matter. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 392, filed, by Louis J. Cella, Jr., M.D., proposing to amend Sectional District Map'2~-5-io~ to reclassify from the R-2 District to the R-3H District property on the east side of Sycamore Street from Wilshire Avenue approximately 265 feet south, all as shown on Exhibit A.A. 392A; no protests were received and the hearing closed.
