Appl. No. 399 Eleanor R. Grand c~ ~- was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. This being the continued hearing ~u Amendment Application No. 399, filed by Eleanor R. Grand, proposing to amend Sectional District Map 6-5-9, to reclassify frcm the R-2 and R-1 Districts to the C-5 District, property at the northwest corner of 17th Street and Santiago Street, all as shown on Exhibit A.A. 399A; c~nication was presented from Eleanor R. Grand requesting cancellation of Amendment Application No. 399 and on motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the c.-~,~uication was received and filed. On motion of CouncJ!m-n Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Amendment Application No. 399 filed by Eleanor R. Grand was Hearing Amend. Appl. No. 401 Bernard Kahn, M.D. Ordinance denied. This being the date set for hearing on Amendment Application No. 401, filed by Bernard Kahn~ M.D., proposing to amend Sectional District Map 6-5-9, to reclassify from the R-2 District to the C-5 District, property on the northeast corner of 17th and Poinsettia Streets, all as shown on Emhibit A.A. 40lA; Dr. Kahn stated he recent]J purchased this property with the intention of constructing a small medical office and submitted the plans to the Planning Department which met their approval, provided six parking spaces are available, and that he has ccmplied with this condition. No protests were received and the hearing closed. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of CounCil~,~ Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: "OrdtnRnce amending Article 1X of the Santa Aha Municipal Code to change district classification on Amendment Application No. 401 and amendi~ Sectional District Map 6-5-9 (Exhibit AA ~O1A)" Appeal Appl. No. 63 Conditional Use Permit No. 107 Edward B. Whitaker Peso. No. 62-132 was introduced, considered and placed on file for second rea~tng. Appeal Application No. 63 was again presented on Conditional Use Permit No. 107, South filed by Edward B. Whitaker, 1026/Driftwood Drive, to establish a six-guest infirmary for physically and/or mentally handicapped children in the R-1 District at 1026 South Driftwood Drive, whereas the applicant appeals the denial of the Planning C~ssion. CouncJ!,~n Heinly asked Mrs. Whitaker if she had read the report of the Planning C~-m~ ssion, and she replied that she agrees to all of the conditions as imposed. The Council having unanimously Waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Council- maB Heinly, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolutic~ No. 62-132 overruling, the Planning C~-...fssion and granting a ~onditional ~se ~ermit on ~onditio~l ~ermit Application No. 107 subject to conditions" Appeal Appl. No. 66 Variance Appl. No. 1660 Billee Byars Halloran Terrence H. Halloran Reso. No. 62-133 Granting Variance was considered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall Noes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter Absent, Councilmen None Appeal Application No. 66 was presented on Variance Application No. 1660 filed by Billee Byars Halloran and Terrence H. Nalloran to expand present store entrance for more direct and attractive approach in order to eliminate present awkward steps and porch landing at 219 East Washington Avenue wherein appellant appeals the decision of the Zoning Administrator.
