A. L. R~m!rez~ 600 North Main Street, presented a letter signed by Ernest Win- <br /> bigler, Trustee of the Estate of Maude N. Winbigler, deceased, the major owner of the <br /> properties known as 601 to 609 inclusive, c~ North Main Street, protesting the grantimg <br /> of permanent parking facilities to a Transportation Ccm~ny along the curb fro~ting East <br /> Sixth Street, at the corner of East Sixth and North Main Streets. On motion of Council- <br /> man Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the c~m~,micatic~ w~s received and filed. <br /> ~r. P~mirez objected to the granting of curb space to the Airport Coach Service, stating <br /> the parking spaces should be available for the business houses in the area. It was moved <br /> by Councilman Neinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, that a record be cast upon the <br /> Minutes indicating to the Manager and the Director of Public Works that this Council <br /> approves a loading zone o~ the north side of Sixth Street east of Main Street for a per- <br /> iod not to exceed sixty days, allowing the Airport Coach Service time to establish a <br /> teminal within the City. <br /> <br />The Council having unanLmously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Council <br />man Hubbard, seconded by Neinly and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-142 concerning parking limitations and curb markings <br /> in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing a '2~-m~uute parking zone on the West side of North Broadway between Fourth <br />and Fifth Streets, reference request of D. E. Mendenhall, Manager, Santa Aha Civic Center <br />Branch, Bank of America, was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen: Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. N~ll <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen: Hone <br />Absent, Councilmen: Hone <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Counci!m~u Royal E. <br />Hubbard was granted permission to leave the State to attend the 1962 American Municipal <br />Congress, American Municipal Association, to be held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, <br />A,,ugust 25 through 30, 1962, with expenses to be paid by the City. <br />On motion of Counci~w~n Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the City Council <br />adjourned to Nonday, ~u~r 23, 1962 at 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chamber. <br /> <br />· CL~K OI~E C~JNC~L <br /> <br /> <br />
