<br />placing it with a miniature chuck wagon which is to draw attention to one of the two
<br />big entertaining features for'the Los Angeles County Fair Association at Pomona,
<br />September 14th through ~Oth, 1~62. Onmotion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hub-
<br />bard and carried, the request was granted.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />OOuncilmmu Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitled
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 62-1~0 of the City Council of Santa Aha,
<br /> California, expressing oppositien to ~r~position 4 to
<br /> appear on the November ballot"

<br />in the interest of not increasing the tax burden upon the residents of the City of
<br />
<br />Santa Aha and urges all voters in.said City to study said proposition with care and
<br /> to be
<br />to vote against said Proposition 4 at the election/held Novomber 6, 1962, was con-

<br />to modernize the highway user taxes so that a greater portion of said taxes will be

<br />distributed to the cities for their use in providim~, improving and maintaining city
<br />
