On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and <br /> carried, the Affidavit of Notice was received and filed. The Council having unani- <br /> mously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Cou~lcilmau Neinl~, seconded <br /> by B~ewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-1~6 overruling protests or objections to report of <br /> street superintendent, approving report and ordering a copy thereof <br /> filed with the tax collector" <br /> <br /> was considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen: Royal E. Hubbard, Henry H. Schlueter, <br /> Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen: None <br />Absent, Councilmen: None <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the request of <br /> Hall, Haynes and Associates was granted for extension of time fron October 2, 1962 <br /> to October 2, 196~ on Tentative Tract 4402. <br /> <br /> Prom the Planning Department, reco~,endation of approval of Preliminary Record of <br /> Survey ~7~ filed by Standard Avenue Baptist Church creating three lots parcels <br /> located on the southwest corner of Standard and Chestnut, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilma~ Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, said Survey was <br />approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br />Prem the Plan-t~E Department, rec~endation of approval of Preliminary Record of <br />Sur~ey ~274 filed by John B. Kilroy creating two parcels located at the northwest <br />corner of Warner and Yale, subject to conditions. On motion of Councilm~u Heinly, <br />seceded by Hubbard and carried, said Survey was approved subject to conditions. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~l-~ Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute the following agreements, subject to attorney's approval: <br /> <br /> With Fairfax Sign Co. for construction of an electric sign which extends over <br /> and upon the established setback line at 826 East 17th. <br /> <br /> With State Division of Highways for relocation of City Water facilities on Gar- <br /> den Grove Preeway Project, VII-ORA-174-SA; <br /> <br /> With Neon Maintenance Service for construction of electric sign which extends <br /> over and upon the established setback line at 1112 N. Harbor; and <br /> <br /> With County Sanitation Districts, implementing County Sanitation District No. 7 <br /> Ordinance No. 705. <br /> <br />It was moved by Counc~l-~n Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that escrow <br />instructions be approved and signed for certain properties and with the following <br />persons: <br /> <br /> No. 47999-C dated Ju~y 12, 1962 with Glen W. and Framces L. Wilson for sale of <br /> property at north side of Edinger and West of Maple in the s~ of $11,550.00. <br /> <br /> No. ~8070-C dated J~A~y 16, 1962 with Salvador and Helen H. Flores for real <br /> property on north side of Fifth Street, west of Artesia Street, in the sum <br /> of $1, 000.00. <br /> <br /> NO. 48095-C dated J~y 16, 1962 with Weda C. Beck for real property on the ~orth <br /> side of Edinger Avenue, west of Orange Avenue, in the sum of $22,000.00. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Counci~m-~ Hubbard~ seconded by Hein~ and carried~ the following Resolution entitled <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 62-147 acceptt~ deeds where the City is paying no <br /> cash consideration" <br /> <br />frc~ Edna M.
