Prior to beginning conscmctlon, the City shall comply with the California <br /> Uniform Relocation Ass/stance and Real Property Acquisition Polities Act <br /> (Go~ernment Code Section 7260 et. seq.). This Act requires that <br /> public enrltie~ in California provide juat compensation (fa/r market value) <br /> and relocation advisory ass/stance t~a any per, on or business displaced <br /> because of the acquisition of real property for public uae~. Any neces~ry remediation action to properly dispose of toxic <br />wa.~e mamria~ wilJt be in compliance with County, State and Federal <br />Poilcies and Procedures. <br /> <br />As needed during <br />construction. [Note <br />to be shown in <br />specifications) <br /> <br />7-2 <br /> <br />If unkno,~l wasted~naterials or an underground tank that the contractor <br />believes may invotv~ h,~'ardous wasteJmateriai~ are discovered during <br />construction, the contractor shall: <br /> <br />1. Immediately stop work in the viciniw of the suspected contaminant, <br /> rerao~ worker~ and ~he public from the area; <br /> <br />A~ needed during <br />construction.
