RESOLUTION 94-023 <br /> <br />45Z <br /> <br />PUBLIC SERVICES AND UTILITIF.._.S <br /> <br />The City has incorporated the following mitigation measures into the project to <br />further reduce the insignificant impacts on public services and utilities identified <br />below. <br /> <br />Service <br /> <br />Effect <br /> <br />The project would have an insignificant effect on the existing water system's ability to <br />provide adequate fire-flow. Fire protection for the project is considered adequate, <br /> <br />59. <br /> <br />Th; project sponsor shall consult with the San'. Aha Fire Department during <br />project design and prior to initial occupancy of the buildings to discuss and <br />implement such features as emergency access and emergency evacuation <br />plans. Definitive plans and specifications shall be submitted to the SAFD <br />prior to issuance of occupancy permits. Requirements for necessary permits <br />must be satisfied prior to commencement of any portion of the proposed <br />project. The project sponsor has submitted the final site plan, which shows <br />the accessways and turning areas for Fire Department approval. <br /> <br />The project shall comply with all applicable City and State fire cedes and <br />ordinances as well as the Public Safety Element of the General Plan. <br /> <br />61. <br /> <br />Sprinkler systems shall be required, in accordance with the San,. bna Fire and <br />Building code requirements. <br /> <br />Police Service <br /> <br />Additional police personnel or equipment would not be required to adequately serve <br />this site. The proposed project would result in a potential but insignificant security <br />problem due to the design of the walkway and parking at the south perimeter of the <br />Smith's building which would result in a poorly surveyable area of the parking lot. <br /> <br />62. <br /> <br />The project sponsor shall consult with the City of Santo bna Police <br />Department's Crime Prevention Unit on the design and implementation of a <br />security plan for the project. This plan shall be approved by the Chief of <br />Police. The security plan will require the use of private security guards to <br />monitor and patrol the project site during construction and operation. Said <br /> <br /> <br />
