A tabulation of bids was presented by the Manager for Projects D-42, construction of a storm drain along Old Talbert Avenue between Susan Street and the D-3 Channel, and Project D-44, construction of a storm drain along Segerstrom Avenue between Susan Street and the D-3 Channel, in accordance with Standard Specifications as follows: Name Total Bid Bond Knudson Construction Co. The Clerk reported that this was the time and place fixed for the hearing of protests or objections against the work or the District, as described in Resolution of Intention No. 52-156, in the matter of the construction of certain sewer lines together with appurtenances and appurtenant work within the City of Santa Ana for the use and benefit of the City of Santa Ana Assessment District No. 218 in said City, as described in said Resolution of Intention No. 62-156. The Clerk also reported that affidavits in support of the publication of the Resolution of Intention, the mailing of printed notices of the adoption of said Resolution, and the posting of the Notice of Improvement, as required by law, had been made and are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council!. The Mayor then inquired of the Clerk if any written protests or objections against the work or the District had been filed with her in said matter. The Clerk reported that no written protests had been filed with her prior to the time set for the hearing. The Mayor then announced that the City Council would also hear any persons present who desired to be heard orally and who had any protests or objections against the work or assessment as set forth in the Resolution of Intention hereinabove mentioned.
