Famularo <br />Lowe & Watson Construction Co. <br /> <br />$ 30,600.00 <br />29,595.60 <br />36,550.80 $4,000.00 <br />30,747.00 10~ <br />30,460.80 10% <br />37,095.60 10% <br />27,996.00 10~ <br /> <br />On motion of CounciLman Br~'wer, seconded by Hubbard and <br /> <br />carried, the lowest and best <br /> <br />bid of Lowe & Watson Construction Co., at the total of $27,996.00, was accepted and <br /> <br />all other bids rejected. <br /> <br />The Clerk reported that this was the time and place fixed for the hearing of protests <br />or objections against the work or the District, as described in Resolution of Intention <br />No. 52-156, in the matter of the construction of certain sewer lines together with <br />appurtenances and appurtenant work within the City of Santa Ana for the use and benefit <br />of the City of Santa Ana Assessment District No. 218 in said City, as described in said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 62-156. The Clerk also reported that affidavits in support <br />of the publication of the Resolution of Intention, the mailing of printed notices of <br />the adoption of said Resolution, and the posting of the Notice of Improvement, as <br />required by law, had been made and are on file in the office of the Clerk of the Council!. <br />The Mayor then inquired of the Clerk if any written protests or objections against the <br />work or the District had been filed with her in said matter. The Clerk reported that <br />no written protests had been filed with her prior to the time set for the hearing. <br /> <br />The Mayor then announced that the City Council would also hear any persons present who <br />desired to be heard orally and who had any protests or objections against the work or <br />assessment as set forth in the Resolution of Intention hereinabove mentioned. There <br />were none present at the meeting who protested or objected orally. No protests being <br /> <br /> <br />
