Traffic Control Devices Installed or Removed Extra Work Project S-32; Construction of a sanitary sewer in Wright Street, Santa Clara Avenue and Grand Avenue, correcting amount from $806.88 to $906.88. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carriedj reports on traffic devices installed or removed by departmental traffic order during the period August 6, 1962 through August 16, 1962, and August 16 through August 30, 1962, were received Appointment to Board of Parking Places and filed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, the appointment of one member to the Board of Parking Place Commissioners to fill vacancy, was post- Authorization of Payment Proposed Stadium Robert Hernandez Clearance of Signs from Street Right of Way Appointment to Council James Gilmore poned to the next meeting. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, payment to Architect Robert Hernandez as set forth in the contract with him, was authorized. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, recommendation to clear signs, etc., from street right of way on business streets was continued to September 17, 1962. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Schlueter and carried, James Gilmore was appointed as Councilman for Ward 2 to fill the vacancy left by Councilman Dale H. Heinly, the motion being passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen: Noes, Councilmen: Absent, Councilmen: Royal E. Hubbard, Bob Brewer, Henry H. Schlueter, A.A.Hall None Dale H. Heinly The Clerk then administered the oath of office.
